After a heartbreaking defeat the previous Monday night, the Philadelphia Eagles came back against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon to win 15-12, scoring all 15 points in the fourth quarter. Running back Saquan Barkley had an impressive 65-yard touchdown run and another 6-yard touchdown run after being set up by tight end Dallas Goedert, who received a 61-yard catch-and-run pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts.

The Eagles’ defense helped make this win possible by keeping the pressure on Saints quarterback Derek Carr, whose second down pass intended for wide receiver Rashid Shaheed was intercepted by Eagles safety Reed Blankenship at the Philadelphia 41-yard line.

The game was won despite adverse circumstances for the Philadelphia football team. Head Coach Nick Sirianni expressed his gratitude for his team’s efforts despite losing numerous players to injury throughout the contest, calling the event “a special teams win.” It was the first win against New Orleans since the 2007 season.
