The Eagles headed into Cincinnati and put on a show, cruising to a 37-17 win over the Bengals in Week 8. This one was all about balanced offense, hard-hitting defense, and a little bit of history—the Birds snagged their first win ever in Cincinnati and are now 5-2, with three straight W’s to boot.

QB Jalen Hurts looked sharp and steady, connecting on 16 of 20 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown. He also got it done on the ground, punching in three rushing TDs, including a quick one up the middle in the third quarter to give Philly a solid lead. Saquon Barkley kept the sticks moving too, piling up 108 rushing yards on 22 carries and helping the Birds control the clock.

The Bengals got on the board early in the second with a field goal, and Joe Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase for a 12-yard touchdown late in the first half. But by then, the Eagles had already started to pull away. A Hurts-to-Brown TD in the second quarter followed by a fumble recovery deep in Cincy territory gave Philly all the momentum heading into halftime.

In the second half, the Eagles’ defense turned up the heat, with an interception at the start of the fourth and another forced fumble with about six minutes left. Each turnover kept Cincinnati from finding any rhythm and put the offense in prime position to close it out.

The Eagles are locked in and hitting their stride, looking every bit like a team on a mission. Next up, they’re back in Philly, set to face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is Sunday, November 3, at 1:05 PM ET on CBS.
