Across the state of Pennsylvania, gas prices have fallen over the last month and are down almost five cents to $3.81 a gallon. For diesel customers, prices have risen slightly, up 11 cents from a month ago. For all customers, however, gas prices have fallen from last year. These trends are in line with national ones, gas prices are down 14 cents a gallon from last month.
AAA is also reporting that gas prices have fallen across key regional areas in Northeast Pennsylvania, including the Scranton–Wilkes-Barre–Hazleton metropolitan area and East Stroudsburg. Prices are down five cents a gallon and 14 cents a gallon, respectively, over the last month. Both are well below the more than $5 a gallon highs seen last June.
