Star QB Jalen Hurts led the Eagles in their first playoff matchup of the year by throwing two touchdown passes and running for another during a dominant first half, and the Eagles overwhelmed the New York Giants 38-7 on Saturday night in an NFC divisional playoff game.
Hurts’ health was in question going into the game, having missed two games late in the regular season (both being losses) and coming back on Week 18 running a timid offense clearly meant to preserve his health for the playoffs.
Once Hurts got going, he eliminated all doubt about his status and cemented himself as one of the best quarterbacks left in the playoffs.
With the dominant win, the Eagles moved onto the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Feb 29th back at Lincoln Field.
